Who We Are

Cyber Job Central is a community of cybersecurity professionals dedicated to staying at the forefront of the industry. Our organization is led by cybersecurity experts and Fortune 100 executives from diverse backgrounds in the security space. With our combined experience, we have seen the industry transform, worked through the challenges that come from working in such a dynamic field, and identified opportunities for employers to maximize data security and minimize risk. Though our industry relies heavily on technology, we know how impactful the human-side of cybersecurity is which is why we created this network. Employers and cyber-professionals know that education in our industry is a continuous process and Cyber Job Central is where both can connect, learn from experts, and continue to share knowledge.

What We Do

At Cyber Job Central, our mission is to create the only online community devoted to the needs of cyber-professionals and employers. With approximately 3.5 million unfilled roles in the cyber-space, we know it’s not completely a lack of talent available but rather a misunderstanding between what employers are seeking and candidates’ qualifications. We aim to advise our partners on hiring trends especially with critical roles that are in high demand and actively help connect them with ideal vetted candidates.

Cyber Job members have access to resources and original content but more importantly have the opportunity to network with industry experts who are available to coach and mentor other members within the community. The growth of the cybersecurity industry relies on the exchange of information amongst its professionals and Cyber Job Central was created to help them do so.

She also realizes that traditional recruiting doesn’t always work in the cyber space. “A good cyber recruiter, needs to understand how to read cyber resumes and profiles. Buzz words are interchangeable in this space, so algorithm searches are somewhat skewed.“ Colleen has been recognized as a leader within her profession since 1999, when she started a National Peoplesoft practice for Acsys, Inc. That division grew to over 15 million within a 3-year period.
